Maxine Brush, 63, of Kirkton passed away peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on Saturday, May 14, 2016.
Beloved wife of John Brush III. Dear mother of Christine Villeneuve, Karen Lennox-Moore (Michael) and John Brush IV. Loving grandmother of Dakota Rose Prince and Cheyenne Lily Lennox-Moore. Dear sister of Connie Bromley (Vernon). Dear sister-in-law of Donna Broome (Herb), Stephen Brush (Marilyn), Edith Brownridge (David) and Ruth Anne Ranahan (Doug). Dear niece of Ollie and Bodie Craig. Also surviving are her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her parents Irvin and Betty Bowes and father-in-law and mother-in-law John Brush II and Isabelle.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 6-8 p.m and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Greg Toohey officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Interment in Kirkton Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Cancer Society or World Vision - towards either Outfitting School Classrooms in Third World Countries or Providing School Lunch would be appreciated.
