Dorothy Elschner, 84, formerly of Gorrie passed away at Caressant Care, Listowel on Monday, May 16, 2016.
Beloved wife of the late Robert Elschner (1996). Dear mother of Barry Elschner (Shirley), Janice Plank (John) and Bruce Elschner (Marna). Loving grandmother of Jennifer Esdaile, James Elschner (Cindy) and Karen Defayette (Jason). Dear sister of Glenn Harper (Pearl). Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents John and Lillian Harper and brother Arnold Harper (Isabelle).
Dorothy's family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel for their excellent care and support.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 2:30 - 4 and 6-9 p.m. and on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Interment in Carlingford Cemetery. Memorial donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
