Beverley "Bev" Bannerman
Beverley Bannerman, 72, of Monkton passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Friday, June 10, 2016.
Beloved wife for 50 years of Kenneth Bannerman. Dear mother of Jeff (Betty) Bannerman and Cheryl (Bill) Young. Loving grandmother of Lucas, Anita and Catharine Young, Tyler, Jessica, Ashley and Travis Bannerman. Dear sister of Brenda (John) Vandenbussche. Dear sister-in-law of Shirley Bannerman. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Rachel Fawm, father-in-law and mother-in-law Oliver and Edith Bannerman, brother-in-law Jack Bannerman and niece Nicole Bannerman.
Bev had been an active Girl Guide and 4-H Leader for many years. She was a member of the Mitchell Agricultural Society where she looked after the photography section of the fair. She was also a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Monkton where she had served on the Board of Managers, the Mission Quilters and various women's groups. Bev loved spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren in all their activities. She also enjoyed camping, nature, photography, swimming and researching family history.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Marc Fraser officiating assisted by Rev. Darlene Hardy. Interment in Knox Presbyterian Cemetery, Mitchell. Memorial donations to Monkton Presbyterian Church or Camp Kintail would be appreciated.
