Kevin McComb went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in his 62nd year.
Beloved husband of Sandra McComb for 39 wonderful years. Dear father of Lindsey, Rodney, Ginger Lightfoot (Grant) and Wade. Older brother to Brian (Sarah), Darrell (Penny), Shawn (Lisa) and Erin (Jane). Dear brother-in-law of Audrey Francis (Barry) and Les Burton (Tammy). Also surviving are his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Donald and Aleda McComb, father-in-law and mother-in-law Ralph and Muriel Mulholland and sister-in-law Judy Burton.
Kevin was a quiet, honest man with many varied interests who was constantly considering new techniques in farming. During the 35 years he farmed in West Perth, he attended seminars and courses on a variety of topics. He also hosted tours of his organic farm, taught introductory courses on ecological agriculture and participated in various studies conducted by the University of Guelph. His most recent passion was flying and he was studying to take his first solo flight when health issues intervened.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Sunday, June 19, 2016 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Charles Collins officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Interment in Fullarton Evangelical Cemetery.
