PHYLLIS RONEY
Phyllis Roney, 94, of Exeter and formerly of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Exeter Villa on Saturday, February 3, 2018.
Beloved wife of the late Russell Roney (1997). Survived by daughter Faye and husband Earl Reichert of Exeter and her sister-in-law Phyllis and husband Clare DeVeulle of Ilderton. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Evelina (Maude) Robinson, daughter Joan (2007) and husband Keith Stephenson (2009), brother Reg Robinson (Margaret) and twin brother Lloyd Robinson (Florence).
During many years in the Mitchell area, Phyllis enjoyed country music and dancing, telling stories, playing cards and being an active community member. Phyllis will be fondly remembered for her never ending smile, sense of humour, kindness and caring towards others.
Phyllis has resided at the Exeter Villa for the past ten years where she received excellent care and respect from all staff, volunteers and physicians. She always felt safe, warm and never alone.
Arrangements entrusted to the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations to the Exeter Villa or charity of one's choice would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
