Jean Parsons, 88, of Mitchell passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Saturday, December 9, 2017.
Beloved wife of the late Gordon J. Parsons (1995). Dear mother of Mike Parsons (Mary Jane) and Mary Louwagie (John). Loving grandmother of Cassandra Krug (Matt), Stuart Parsons (Danielle), Cindy Prospero (Adam), Karen Louwagie (Jake), Nancy Louwagie (Tom) and Charlene Louwagie. Cherished great grandmother of Shelby, Patrick and Brinley Krug. Dear sister of Mary Eadie, Shirley Kilpatrick (Doug) and Stuart Laidlaw (Myrtle). Dear sister-in-law of Vivien Laidlaw.
Predeceased by her parents Charles and Thelma Laidlaw, infant daughter Thelma Jean, brothers William Laidlaw (Phyllis) and Kenneth Laidlaw, sisters Doris Machmiller (Hans) and Margaret Legrow (Reg), brothers-in-law Lorne Eadie, Russell Parsons (Sylvia) and Keith Parsons (Elsie).
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
