Kenneth Joseph Ryan, 75, of RR5, Mitchell passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Friday, December 29, 2017.
Beloved husband of Carol (Flannery) Ryan. Dear father of Wayne Ryan (Tina), Neil Ryan (Kelly), Anne Stinson (Kevin), Jean Ryan (Bill), Kenneth Ryan (Heather) and David Ryan (Julie). Loving grandfather of Sarah, Evelyn, Ian, Megan, Jack, Alexandra, Daniel, Delaney, Abby, Katie, Matt, Tyler and Lucas. Dear brother of Mildred Cronin, Ron Ryan (Mary), Catherine Masse (Louis) and Joan Cronin. Dear brother-in-law of Mary Flannery, Brenda Telford, Patrick Flannery, Joe Flannery (Judy) and James Flannery (Diane). Also surviving are his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Rita Ryan, father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Dorothy Flannery, brothers-in-law Jim Cronin, Bob Cronin and Robert Telford and sister-in-law Margaret Flannery.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Mitchell on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ben Raze - celebrant. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Interment in St. Columban Cemetery.
