RUTH MCGILL
Ruth McGill, 94, of Mitchell passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell on Sunday, December 24, 2017.
She was born in 1923, the daughter of the late George C. Eickmeier and Martha (Rock).
Beloved wife of the late Keith McGill (2010). Dear mother of Janis Murray and Bob McGill (Nora). Loving grandmother of Jennifer Dale, Jeffrey Keenliside, Tricia Murray (Jason) and Matthew McGill (Brittany). "GiGi" was especially proud of her great grandchildren. Also surviving are her nephews and niece.
As well as her parents, Ruth was predeceased by an infant daughter Jean Louise (1955), son-in-law Bruce Murray (2017) and her brothers Milton (Rita), Ivan (Georgina) and Oscar (Esther).
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert Adams officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Spring interment in Knox Presbyterian Cemetery.
