BARBARA SPRINGALL
Barbara Springall, 59, of Egmondville passed away after a short but courageous battle at Seaforth Community Hospital on Friday, April 20, 2018.
Beloved wife of Richard Springall. Dear mother of James, Andrew (Jenn) and Matthew (Caitlin). Cherished grandmother of Oriana. Loving daughter of Lillian Hocking and the late Donald Hocking (2015). Dear sister of Douglas Hocking (Kate), Robert Hocking and David Hocking (Joanne). Dear sister-in-law of Sandra Sinden (Daryl), Darlene Springall and Carol Springall. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Alister and Margaret Springall and brother-in-law Alister Jr. Springall.
Barbara loved singing and belonged to several choirs over the years. She also had a great love for riding horses. She worked for Huron County for over 25 years and served as the Director of Homes, Social and Property Services.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ernest Dow officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Interment in Roys Cemetery.
