I am saddened to read about the passing of your dear wife, mother, grandmother. I lost my sweet mother, Alice a year ago today. My prayers are with you all in the coming days and weeks ahead as you grieve and mourn her death. I pray that happy memories will help ease the pain and help you through these difficult days.
Tracy, I remember your mother with great fondness and I have many fun memories of time spent with your family. From the first time I met your parents I was welcomed with open arms (you had them pick me up at the train station because you forgot you had to work). Your mother always fed me delicious, generous portion sized meals (somebody told her I was a big eater), a special chair was purchased for me to sit in during our family talks (so my feet could touch the ground) and a stool was kindly placed by my bed so I could get in it at night. Even though I clearly did not look like a McNairn I was treated and felt like a daugther.
