LINDA KIRKHAM
Linda Kirkham, 69, of Mitchell passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday, January 24, 2017.
Beloved wife of Ivan Kirkham. Dear mother of Rachelle Damen (Diane), Terri Smith (Dean Feener), Doug Kirkham (Kelli) and John Kirkham (Dezia). Loving grandmother of eleven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Dear sister of Vickie Daw (Al Hamm) and Beverly Edwards (Darrell Coleman). Dear sister-in-law of Darlene Edwards, Bruce Daw, Barb Elliott (Jack), Lynda Hunt (Phil), Joan Kirkham and Kris Kirkham. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Wilbert "Chub" and Marjorie Edwards, brother Wayne Edwards, nephew Barry Edwards, brothers-in-law Stan Kirkham (Shirley) and Ron Kirkham.
Linda was a past member and Past President of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 128, Mitchell, Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary and a Zone Sports Officer.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Bob Heywood officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Memorial donations to the Mitchell Lions Club Community Fund would be appreciated and may be made at www.LockhartFuneralHome.com.
Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 128, Mitchell will hold a service at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 5:45 pm.
