Condolence From: Don Melady

Condolence: My condolences to Brenda's family. I was the youngest of the Melady kids across the road from Doug and Jackie and Brenda and John. I remember many visits back and forth and how "motherly" Brenda was. My main memory of Brenda was of her taking me to her school, the one 4-5 km east of Dublin on Highway 8 for a day. I was a pre-schooler, so it must have been 1962-63. I think it was probably the first time I was ever in a school. So thanks to Brenda for that.

Condolence: For John and for Brenda's loved ones- spouse, children and extended family members:
Please accept my condolences on your loss. I remember Brenda very well from our early years on the farm at St. Columban. We used to go over and watch television on the old black and white with Brenda and John and for quite a few years, we walked together up the highway to the St. Columban School. Through the years I heard news of Brenda and her children from her mother and father when I was at home visiting and so kept in touch a little with her life and family. It is always difficult to lose a member of our family. Prayers and thoughts for all.
